Lake Fort Scott is open to the public for all to use. Lake Fort Scott property owners pay a "Lake Frontage Fee" of $150.00 to the City of Fort Scott on a yearly basis. There is a double lane boatramp located at the West Entrance of Lake Fort Scott, multiple floating docks for the public to fish from, fish feeders, picnic and park areas that are also open to the public for daily use.
